Introducing the Daily Crime Forecast

The Daily Crime Forecast is an innovative crime forecasting software that can be utilized by police and security agencies to maximize the effectiveness of available resources within their area of responsibility. Going beyond the conventional hot spot, this software efficiently surveys spatial and temporal attributes in incident data and creates a forecast map that identifies areas where crime is most likely to occur. The Daily Crime Forecast has shown to be two times more predictive than spatial/temporal hot spotting techniques used today.

Daily Crime Forecast Wins Two Awards

The Daily Crime Forecast has won two awards for its innovative approach to crime forecasting: The Canadian Urban Transit Association (CUTA) award for innovation and the novaNAIT Technology Commercialization Challenge.
